People still believe in the myth that if they reduce their calorie intake then they will lose weight. Unfortunately there are numerous flaws in this diet strategy. Fruit and vegetables are different than they were 50 or 60 years ago. Farmers no longer farm for food, they farm for profit. I'm not knocking that, we all need to live. But with the new style of farming, the soil is over farmed and poisoned with chemicals. This results in nutritionally bankrupt soil and food. So when you are plotting your diet, are you basing it on calories or nutrition? They are extremely different and important things.
